Privacy Policy
This describes what information Stigmi collects and how it is used.
- What is collected. Your username, display name, password (stored as a one-way hash), bio,
an optional location field (not GPS based), website links, avatar image, and whatever you post as Stigs,
replies,
follows, Favorites, and Restigs.
- No email required. Signing up doesn't require an email address or any other contact
info... yet.
- Cookies. Stigmi sets a single session cookie so you stay logged in. Stigmi does not use
ad trackers,
analytics pixels, or third-party scripts.
- Where it's stored. Everything lives in a database file on the server running Stigmi.
Uploaded avatars and media are stored as files on that same server.
- Who sees it. Your username, display name, bio, location, links, avatar, and Stigs are
public to anyone by default. You can make your Stigs (not entire profile) only visible to logged-in users.
Nevertheless, do not
post anything you do not want to be public.
- No distribution. Stigmi does not sell or share your data with third parties.
- Right to Deletion and Export. You can: export all your data, delete any individual Stig,
or your entire account yourself at any time here.
